In July, we had 1,829 patient interactions at Muira Health Center. This included 37 antenatal checks for expecting mothers and 2 safe deliveries.

This month, we said goodbye (for now) to Dr. Mohammed, who will be leaving to complete his internship. He still plans to visit a few times each month. Dr. Mohammed has been a great addition to our team, helping establish a positive work environment and providing valuable feedback. We wish him the best as he continues his development. At the same time, we are pleased to welcome Dr. Kalibala as our new physician, and we have also hired an additional midwife to support expectant mothers.

On the health side, we received 20 tetanus shots for newborns, along with a training course provided by the District Health Office.

On the agricultural side, we began construction of our poultry house, which we expect to complete by mid-August before moving on to a goat housing structure. Our hens have laid eggs and we are waiting for them to hatch. Meanwhile, our goats are growing steadily, and our vegetable garden continues to produce. We are looking forward to adding tomatoes and chilies in the near future.
